About Helping Herts

Helping Herts is Hertfordshire’s leading unrestricted funder. We focus on improving the lives of children and young people within the county, by connecting businesses and the community with 12 frontline local children and young people’s charities.

Through a single, streamlined relationship with our 12 charity partners, we act as a fundraising and support hub, helping to tackle mental health challenges, address family hardship, support individuals with disabilities, and promote youth mentoring initiatives.

We organise a range of fundraising activities, from walks and challenges to skydives, all of which you can explore below. These events help to generate donations from individuals and businesses, with many contributions being match funded (doubled) by us, increasing the charities impact. With all funds raised, these are distributed to our charity partners to support their vital work.
